Sogo Bujutsu / Budo

Sogo Bujutsu / Budo is not a style of martial arts but a martial art strategy for training called Hyoho or Heiho.

Sogo means total, overall, complete and well rounded. Budo translates from Japanese meaning Bu=martial, Do= Way or path.

In ancient Japan the Samurai was expected to be the Ultimate Warrior.
The Samurai were very successful in their exploits due to the reason of versatility. Being able to adapt to a situation and improvise, grapple or fight empty handed and use any type of weapon against an opponent. This versatility made them the ultimate warrior in which they were known.

Martial arts used to be known as a mixture of arts in which the samurai were expected to be proficient and know thoroughly all three areas or fighting tactics, percussion, and weaponry.

Sogo Bujutsu / Budo is not something new. It is the original way or path that nearly all Warriors in feudal times adopted as their standard method of training. In these modern times, authentic Sogo Bujutsu / Budo practitioners are extremely rare but are available for you to learn from.
